Specktron UDX-S2 Pro
The Board We Sell, and Why!
Below is what is in it, and how it lines up against six other interactive displays sold in South Africa on the specifications their makers publish.
- 50MP AI camera
- Octa-core processor
- Google EDLA
- Anti-fingerprint
- Adaptive touch
What is in the board
Screen
65, 75 or 86 inch at 4K Ultra HD. Zero gap glass, 4 mm thick and rated Mohs 9 for hardness, with an anti-fingerprint, anti-glare coating. 8 ms response and a 178° viewing angle, horizontal and vertical, so it still reads from the back corner of the room.
Android 14
16GB of memory and 256GB of storage, on an octa-core processor. EDLA certified, so the licensed Google apps are on it. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are built in.
Touch
50 points at once, pressure sensitive, with annotation over whatever is on screen without freezing it. The screen splits, so two sources can run side by side.
Camera, microphone and sound
A 50MP AI camera that frames the room and follows whoever is speaking, a noise-cancelling 8-array microphone, and two 20W speakers, all in the panel, so a hybrid meeting needs nothing on the table.
A QR code or an NFC tap signs a person in to the board with their own accounts, including two accounts of the same type, and signs them out again.
Software
Bytello Share with web sharing and touchback, the whiteboard with handwriting, shape and language recognition, search across your own notes, and import and export in the formats you already use. Five years of Bytello DMS device management.
Storage
A memory card slot, so storage is not capped at what is built in.
Mounting
A wall mount is standard. A mobile stand or trolley is optional. Either way we install it, and an OPS slot takes the Windows module if you want one.
Warranty
Five years, as specified by the manufacturer.
SparkyAI
Optional. Lesson building, quizzes, translation, document reading, image generation, 3D and virtual labs.
How it compares
We keep this table because buyers ask for it. Every cell is what that manufacturer publishes, not our opinion of their board. The feature column stays put, and on a narrow screen the rest scroll sideways.

The five that tend to decide it
Mohs 9 glass
Every other board in the table is rated 7. Hardness is what survives a classroom.
Five years of device management
Included. The others give one year, or charge for it.
The whiteboard is included
Handwriting, language recognition and activities. Three of the others need Lynx Pro bought separately.
Full screen sharing
Bytello Share with web sharing, not the cut-down version.
Sign in as yourself
QR code login with personalisation, and two accounts of the same type. No other board in the table does it.
